About Us
Bright Futures Child Care Center is a local early education and day care facility that offers extended hours, along with Saturday hours. We proudly serve the hardworking families of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, and have transportation available from eight local schools. We’re a family-oriented school and child care facility that opened in 2010, and we have a well-trained staff that has more than 45 years of combined child care experience. Our team is passionate about all we do and specializes in assisting children with learning and behavioral disabilities.
We’re here to make a difference in the world and prepare each of your little ones for their Bright Futures! Your child will enjoy nutritious foods with us, as we’re a part of the National Food Program. We believe that each day offers a new opportunity to help your child grow both mentally and physically. Owner Dorothea Dotter received the Woman of the Year Award from the National Association of Professional Women in 2010 and 2011. She has always worked in child care and now runs our institution with her daughter.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to assist families in providing the BEST in QUALITY childcare. Our goal is to provide an enriching early childhood experience that will be looked back on with fond memories. We encourage a child to welcome the larger world through group play, while retaining their own individuality. We provide joyful activities which will stimulate mental growth, quicken reasoning powers, and sharpen personal observation. We believe that the environment is an invaluable tool and use it as a third teacher. We work alongside parents to encourage a child to be a greater asset to their family by discovering the duties carried out by parents. This is to reinforce the love bond in the family unit. We strive to meet the needs of the individual child. We endeavor to prepare the child in basic instruction so that the first day of school may be met with joy. This will add to the child’s adaptability and aid in the learning process.

We are family-oriented and hold several parent/child workshops throughout the year, including our much-anticipated Baking with Betty! We also provided networking opportunities for our families.
We opened our doors in the Lehigh Valley in April 2010.
